Architect Engineer Corrado Greco

born in Noto (SR) in 1980, he graduated with honors in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Catania. After obtaining his professional qualifications, he registered with the Register of Architects and Engineers of the province of Syracuse. During his university studies, he was a tutor for the architectural restoration course and the architectural composition laboratory, and gained his first professional experience collaborating with Professor Riccardo Dell'Osso, for whom he developed projects for public works such as squares, museums, auditoriums, cultural centers, residential complexes, tram and bus stations and their interchanges, etc. Passionate about 2D and 3D digital graphics, while still a student, he worked in numerous design studios, providing design and stylistic assistance as well as creating highly evocative three-dimensional models. After graduating, and following several professional collaborations with other firms operating in the fields of architectural, urban planning, and design, in 2010 he decided to settle in his hometown and establish his own architecture and engineering firm with his wife and colleague, Engineer Giusi Bernò. Demonstrating a keen eye for design, he consistently creates unique and harmonious projects, clearly attuned to their context and attentive to the functional needs of his clients. His interest in art and design leads him to enhance each of his projects with works specifically conceived and created by his trusted local artisans.

Engineer Giusi Bernò

born in Noto (SR) in 1982, she graduated with honors in Civil Engineering from Catania University, specializing in Structures. After obtaining her professional qualification, she registered with the Register of Engineers of the Province of Syracuse. During her degree, she completed an internship at the Materials and Structures Testing Laboratory at the University of Catania, while also specializing in the use of the most advanced structural design and calculation software. At the conclusion of her three-year civil engineering program, she wrote a thesis on the finite element analysis of CFR-reinforced laminated wood beams. Subsequently, at the end of her two-year specialization program, she successfully completed her master's thesis, which focused on the study of the seismic vulnerability of monumental buildings and possible innovative enhancement techniques using carbon fibers and aramid fibers, applying them to the practical case of the Church of San Domenico in Ortigia. In 2010, together with her husband and colleague, architect Corrado Greco, she founded her own professional firm in Noto (SR), specializing in the design and structural calculations of all types of structures. She currently collaborates with the engineering firm Tecnass in Syracuse, where she handles the structural design of large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways and ports. With a thorough understanding of structural mechanics applied to civil engineering and relevant standards, she consistently proves herself the most suitable and capable professional for even the most complex projects.
